For some of you reading, you may have connected or reconnected with the Master Prophet E. Bernard Jordan through the one and only Larry Reid through his platform Larry Reid Live. He commentates on current events in the church, government, and entertainment.
Larry Reid is the president of the MBN Network, the senior pastor of the Reformation Church of Atlanta, the owner of LDR Enterprises, a publishing company, and record label, and the founder and commentator of Larry Reid Live.
Towards the end of 2018, Larry Reid met Dr. Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan. Since then, these two have been inseparable. The Master Prophet has become Larry’s mentor, spiritual father, and coach. Over the past few years, you may have seen the progression of their relationship and their impact on each other’s lives. It is only suitable for the Master Prophet to ask Larry Reid to be the MC for his 63rd Birthday Celebration and premier of America’s Black Prophet documentary. He is going to keep you entertained and informed throughout the night. When asked, what his initial thoughts were when he heard that the Master Prophet was doing America’s Black Prophet Documentary, Larry stated,
“Right on time. It’s the right moment.”
He also adds,
“Because he’s in his returning years. We go from our learning years to our earning years to our returning years. And he’s moving into that moment where it’s time to share what he has learned, first of all, what he has done and what he has learned. And so this is the perfect time for him. And he’s telling his own story. Nobody else is telling that.”
When asked how important do you think it is to tell your own story, Larry states,
“You, telling your story is the truth of your experience. So when somebody else tells us, it’s how they see your experience. But when you are involved in telling your story, it is a proper representation of what you experienced being you and going through your story.”
When asked if he feels America needs a black prophet, Larry states,
“Yes. America needs a prophet, and America needs a black prophet. It was blackness that built America and still is building America, especially in the world of religion, spirituality entertainment, and we are pushing the economy as well.
So in order for America to properly re-posture and reposition herself, she needs to hear from a prophet of God because this was a spiritual crime and a spiritual scene that America committed against black people. And they also need to have the black perspective. So a black prophet is essential to America, turning back to God.”
When asked what are you expecting to see when you watch the full documentary, Larry states,
“Mm, I’m expecting to see the part I do not know because I just met him. I embraced him as a mentor in the first part of 2019. I met him at the end of 2018. So I expect to learn what I
“do not know because I’ve been watching his ministry from afar. So I don’t know the intimate, intricate details of his life. So I want to learn that.”
Larry Reid shares his final thoughts on America’s Black Prophet Documentary, stating,
“I hope that the documentary is the beginning of a series of well-produced projects that always tell us more about what it took to globalize the prophetic and raise prophetic children and run a business and a ministry while still being a father and husband and grandad. I want to see the effects it has had, is having, and what’s currently happening surrounding Bishop Jordan’s life and family ministry, that balance.”
In regards to Dr. Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan’s 63rd birthday, Larry leaves him with this word:
“Oh, yes. <Laughs> his sixty-third birthday. He’s going to be pregnant all year long. As quick as he gives birth to one thing, he’s going to turn around and get pregnant with something else and give birth. It normally takes a woman a 10-month cycle. He’s going to do several pregnancies and birthings in his 63rd year. And so, I’d be glad to be around to act as a midwife. <Laughs>.”
